Fourth fireworks set
Published 12:27am Thursday, June 21, 2007NATCHEZ — The cities of Natchez and Vidalia will ring in freedom with a festival and fireworks display on the Fourth of July.
The Vidalia Riverfront will host three bands, food vendors and entertainment for children provided by First Natchez Radio Station.
A 15-minute fireworks display sponsored by United Mississippi Bank and Isle of Capri will start around 9 p.m.
“It is going to be a good old- fashioned Fourth of July celebration,” Vidalia marketing director Glen McGlothin said.
