NATCHEZ — Two men face burglary charges after allegedly breaking in to several vehicles this week.

Jake Conner Jr., 34, 116 Greenfield Drive, and Travis Lynn Weems, 23, 1035 Forrest Lane, are each charged with two counts of burglary of a vehicle in connection with two separate incidents on Palestine Road Tuesday night, Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said.

Mullins said the pair also allegedly stole radios from cars parked outside Moak Motor Co. on U.S. 61 North Tuesday night. Conner and Weems are each charged with two counts of burglary of a commercial building in connection with the incident.

Conner and Weems are being held at the Natchez City Jail without bond until arraignment.

Mullins said the two are on hold for the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, and could be connected to a church burglary the ACSO is currently investigating.
