Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Embry will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Thursday, June 16, 2011. Jimmy Embry and Jennie Lee Ray were married June 16, 1961, in Fayette. The couple has two children, Lee Embry and wife, Alicia, of Vicksburg and Julie McClure and husband, Don, of Lorman. They have five grandchildren, Sabrina and Hannah Embry and Cole, Clayton and Chase McClure. A reception, hosted by the family, will be Sunday, June 19, 2011, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the couple’s home in Lorman. Friends and family are invited. The family requests the omission of gifts.
