Sallie Claire Canon-Broussard of Vancleave and Michael James Lord of Mobile, Ala., were married Saturday, June 25, 2011, at 3 p.m. at The Historic Chapel of the West in Las Vegas.

Announcing the marriage are Mr. Robert Everett Canon, father of the bride, and his partner, Mr. Ronald Wayne Bryant Jr., of Natchez, Mrs. Marjorie Fuller Canon, mother of the bride of Dallas and Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Young Lord, parents of the groom of Mobile.

The couple will live in Mobile.

Formal invitations will be sent for the post-nuptial reception which will be Oct. 29, 2011, at Dunleith in Natchez.
