Cell phone video of teens having sex spreads

NATCHEZ — A cell phone video of two minors having consensual sex is reportedly being sent to local teens’ phones, according to Natchez police.

A 14-year-old boy allegedly used his cell phone to capture himself having sex with a 14-year-old girl, then sent the video to “numerous friends at Natchez High,” according to a police report filed Thursday.

When the girl’s cousin saw the video, the report states, he informed her mother — the complainant — of the video’s existence.

Chief Mike Mullins said the incident is under investigation and police have no further information at this time.

#1 where was their adult supervison, and #2 there are very few and rare reasons for kids of that age to have a phone. We adults give our kids this device so we can stay in touch with them(A phone is not a babysitter) you need to know where your child is all the time and what they are up to.When you give a child a phone or computer there needs to be limits set for the use of it, because once something is sent out over the airways it is there forever and anything put on a computer and put on the net becomes a legal document, that can be viewed by all, including people checking your resume and all other info on a person.THIS VIDEO WILL FOLLOW THOSE KIDS THE REST OF THEIR LIFE, and only God knows who will repost it world wide.We adults need to take charge of our kids action, and if you do not do this then don’t cry my poor little child when something like this happens. We wont to stop crime, sex abuse, gangs and roaming packs of dogs, but it ALL STARTS AT HOME.Due to the advance tech. systems of today the ghost in the machine will haunt you forever.

Well, i’ll tell ya one thing, if NPD investigates this like they do everything else, nothing will be done.

It’s obvious these kids aren’t the brightest in their school. What kind of an idiot takes pictures or records themselves doing something wrong? Reminds me of something that happened several years ago. The man made videos of a him and a “lady” making whoopee and then left the tape around where wife could find it. I guess I should have said soon to be ex-wife. What an idiot and you see people doing this everyday and then they wonder how they got caught.

A 14 YEAR OLD BOY HAVING CONSENSUAL SEX WITH A 14 YEAR OLD GIRL. THERE’S NO LAW AGAINST THAT. THE DIFFERENCE IS; IT WAS VIDEO BY CELL PHONE, AND SENT TO OTHER TEENS. I WANNA SEE WHAT THE OUT COME OF THIS INVESTIGATION. THIS IS SOMETHING LIKE; FREEDOM OF SPEECH; BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS; IS THERE A LAW AGAINST KIDS RECORDING THEMSELVES HAVING SEX WITH CELL PHONES; AND SENDING IT TO OTHER KIDS PHONE.

Very sad. The children that do this do not think of the consequences that may come from making bad choices. Take care of your reputation because it will follow you forever.

Amen. I worked in the telecommunications world for a bit ,and it would blow your mind to think of how many parents are coming to get their children UNDER THE AGE OF 10 a cell phone. WTH! Why does your 5 yr. need a cell phone???????

Doesn’t this fall under the pornography heading?

    Most definitely.

The common thread in all the stuff like this is, “where are the parents”?

  • Anonymous

Parents today are weak, IMO.  Okay, say they need a cell phone, they should NOT have the capability of using it to view the internet nor the capability to make and record videos.  If I were a parent, my kid would hate me!  She/he would get a cell phone that could only receive calls, that’s about it!  Unless you’re an adult, paying for your own phone, you don’t need the bells and whistles, you just need to be able to make and accept calls!  I don’t care who else has a fancy phone, my kids wouldn’t have one.  Parents really aid and abet these kids in their ways.  The boy’s parents should be careful that pornographic charges of some sort, don’t come against them, consensual or not!

    Talk about economic hard times!

Yeah that is what I was thinking. Well it’s a lesson that must be learned.

    Several thoughts.

    1) I understand the young woman’s mother wanting somebody to do something, but nothing reported seems criminal.
    2) This is more like gossip than it is like news, and I’m wondering what it’s doing in my newspaper.
    3) If I ever meet the young man, I am going to slap him.

The girl never consented to having this sent around, wat about her privacy. We all watch as teenagers are KILLING themselves for crap like this and you ppl have the nerve to say nothing should be done? No, wait only when it hits alittle closer to your home. Is that it? And the parents were probably the same place our parents where when we did stupid sh** in our adolescence years. Noone is perfect and very few ppl now adays can HONESTLY say they waited till marriage. Unfortunatley this young lady is learning a hard lesson at an early age. I only pray that this doesn’t scarr her indefinately.
