NATCHEZ — Rebecca Felton of Fayette has recently been promoted to student records manager at Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Natchez campus. Prior to her promotion, Felton was employed as admissions secretary, a position she has had since 2005.

She replaces Vanessa Alexander of Natchez, who is now director of eLearning for the college.

“Since we do a great deal of cross-training in the admissions and records Office, Mrs. Felton was the logical choice for this promotion,” said Gwen McCalip, director of admissions and records. “Although we miss Mrs. Alexander, we are elated by this seamless transition. Mrs. Felton moved into her new office without skipping a beat and is doing a great job in spite of this being the busiest time of the year. She is a true team player and we are fortunate to have her expertise.”
