Monday, March 19:

Jermond M. Banks Sr., 27, pleaded guilty to shoplifting first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $444. Jermond M. Banks Sr., 27, pleaded guilty to trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.

Tuesday, March 20:

Jason D. Ray, 25, charged with grand larceny. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $3,500.

Marion Keyun Byrd, 24, charged with statutory rape. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held.

Charles Thomas Buchannan II, 20, charged with statutory rape. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held.

Adrain M. Perry, 29, charged with credit card use/purchase. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held. Bond set at $5,000.

Ashley White, 27, charged with felony shoplifting over $500. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $14,000.

Lawrence Green, 20, charged with statutory rape. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $35,000.

Matthew Watson, 60, charged with receiving stolen property. On motion of prosecution, case dismissed without prejudice for insufficient proof of knowledge. Defendant to be released.

John S. Dillard, 27, charged with two counts of armed robbery. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Dillard also charged with retaliation against a public servant or witness. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held. Dillard also charged with felony possession or carrying a concealed weapon. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Billye M. Wilkinson, 42, charged with embezzlement less than $500/misdemeanor. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $40,000.

Wednesday, March 21:

Cody L. Vestal, 32, charged with disturbing the peace by fighting. Case remanded to files on motion of officer and agreed by judge. $100 suspended.

Tyrone Davis Jr., 41, pleaded guilty to shoplifting 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $469.

Johnny Lee Marshall, 45, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident with damage to property on an adjacent roadway. Fine set at $255.

Natasha Letcher pleaded guilty to violating the city’s noise ordinance. Sentenced to three days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $249.

Friday, March 23:

Christopher Harber, 19, found guilty of disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $369.

Shermona Resher Martin, 31, found guilty of disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $369.

Jimmie Love Johnson Jr., 58, charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. On request of affaint and consent of court, this case is reduced to a warning.

Derrick F. Davis Jr., 21, charged with two counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Case dismissed. All fines satisfied through DA office.

Sherman Gibson, 20, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.

Nicholas Edward Letcher, 33, pleaded guilty to shoplifting —1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $494.

Stacey N. Washington, 34, found guilty of malicious mischief. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Belk. Fine set at $344. Restitution set at $395.93.

Dwayne Moore, 40, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464.

Brandon Jamal McKnight, 18, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.

Arthur Jenkins charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case remanded to files — victim unable to be served subpoena.

Jerame Johnson pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $594.

Wednesday, March 28:

Jeremy J. Williams, 21, charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case remanded to files — officer failed to appear. Victim not served.

Sirmario Clark, 22, pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Weapon ordered forfeited. Fine set at $444.

Kendricka Sanqunette Williams, 27, pleaded guilty to amended charge of disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $394.

James Edward Marsaw Jr., 25, charged with simple assault — domestic violence/2nd offense. Case remanded to files in consideration of plead of co-defendant.

William Bradley, 38, pleaded guilty to violating the city’s noise ordinance. Sentenced to three days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $249 with $100 already paid. Must pay a fine of $149.
