MONTEREY — A Monterey man was arrested and charged with video voyeurism Tuesday after complaints from a 16-year-old female saying the man had naked videos of her on his computer.

Burton J. Hewitt, 39, 632 Louisiana 907, Monterey, was booked into the Concordia Parish Detention Center on a charge of video voyeurism.

Public Information Officer Scott Moreau said in a press release that the female complainant said she found numerous videos of herself fully naked, on Hewitt’s computer of her taking a bath.

The complaint was filed to the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office and was given to the Louisiana State Police.

Moreau said that additional charges are likely.

Hewitt was released on $25,000 bond Tuesday evening.
