Next police chief should be a robot

Amid the furor over the hiring of a new police chief, in an effort to dispense with the rather weighty, racially charged atmosphere, I would like to suggest that we hire an American Indian (Native American) since they were here first, an extra-terrestrial, since they were likely here before the American Indians though left no record, or a robot.
