Mr. and Mrs. Brandon McSwain of Brandon and Mr. Kirk Hamilton of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Beth Hamilton to Hunter Ainsworth, son of Mr. Tim Ainsworth of Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Switzer of Vicksburg.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Northwest Rankin High School in Flowood, attended Mississippi State University in Starkville and is a graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing in Jackson.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Joan Hewitt and the late Mr. Claude Hewitt Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Hamilton Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Brad McSwain, all of Natchez. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Marjorie McSwain Pruitt of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Northwest Rankin High School and is a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville. He is employed by Trustmark Bank in Jackson.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Annette Scruggs and the late Mr. Tom Scruggs of Brandon, Mrs. Norma Jean Ainsworth and the late Mr. Kimble Allen Ainsworth of Brandon and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Watson of Vicksburg.

The wedding will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 19, 2012, at St. Marks Methodist Church in Brandon.

A reception will follow at St. Marks in the Christian Life Center.
