ST. JOSEPH, La. — Services for Willie Webb Jr., 76, of St. Joseph, who died Friday, June 8, 2012, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Tensas High School with Dr. Jesse Bilberry officiating.
Burial will follow at Union Fraternal Cemetery in St. Joseph under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visiation will be today at Greater St. John Baptist Church in St. Joseph.
Mr. Webb was born March 6, 1936, in St. Joseph, the son of Willie and Rosie Long Webb.
He was a retired teacher and coach from Tensas Parish School System.
Mr. Webb was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Napoleon Webb.
Survivors include four sons, Roderick and Ivan “Coach” Webb of St. Joseph, James Patterson of New Orleans and Mario Gray of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Kimberly W. Lawson of Lake Wales, Fla., Gabrielle Ezell of St. Joseph and Heather Obey of Prairieville, La.; one brother, Charles Crawford; five sisters, Hattie Riley and Lucille Jasper, all of Pine Bluff, Ark., Susie Hampton of Chicago, Thelma Forte of San Diego, Calif. and Iola Tyus of Los Angeles; and 17 grandchildren.
