Police arrest teen on stolen property charges

NATCHEZ — Natchez police have arrested a teenager who reportedly stole a pistol, silverware and a cell phone from an Arlington Avenue house Sunday.tangible

Sgt. Shawn T. King declined to release the name of the 16-year-old teen because the teen is being charged with burglary as a juvenile.

The teen reportedly confessed to the burglary after officers found the teen in the area of the burglary with one of the stolen items, King said.

    Let’s stay prayerful that it will not happen again.  With God all things are possible.  The jail experience could turn his life around.  I hope so for sure.

    Jail experience will likely educate him on how to avoid capture next time and smuggle cell phones in his rear end.

    Pop a cap into them will get the bad guys attention and less money spent on the taxpayer !! Sounds like a needed NACP parade in Natchez!!

    Right now he’s just a rookie.  He’ll soon earn his frequent flyer wings through the court system.  By the time he’s 19, he’ll be a teacher for the undergrads.

    I guess when you type “key” words in a comment on the GAS price story that your comments get sensored. I made a good post and it said that it had to be “approved”. Typed 2 other BS comments and they were posted right away. Guess I need to learn the “Key Words” that I’m not supposed to post. :)
