Entergy working to restore power after accident

NATCHEZ — Entergy crews are continuing to work in downtown Natchez to restore power to 260 customers after a tractor-trailer hit and broke a power pole near the intersection of Broadway and Madison streets this morning.havent

The Natchez Democrat’s Canal Street office and Cathedral School were among those without electricity for nearly four hours this morning. The newspaper’s power was restored just after 11 a.m.

According to Entergy’s website, power at all locations was restored by noon with the exception of 17 customers.

Crews are on the scene working to restore power.

    How the heck did that driver manage to get that rig onto that little street to begin with? Wonder how much the fines were and if that driver still has a job?
