WOODVILLE — Taylor Perkins, Brooke Runnels and Ashleigh Williams combined to pitch a no-hitter as the Adams County Christian School Lady Rebels defeated the Wilkinson County Christian Academy Lady Rams 14-0 Friday afternoon in five innings.

Perkins got the win, striking out two and walking none in the first two innings. Both Runnels, who pitched the next two innings, and Williams, who pitched the final inning, managed to keep WCCA off the scoreboard even though each of them walked three batters. Runnels struck out one batter while Williams fanned two batters.

Jessica Reynolds led the Lady Rebels’ 19-hit attack by going 4-for-5, while Williams was 2-for-3, including a three-run home run during a seven-run scoring spree in the top of the third inning that put the game away.
