Jack Davis, 66, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464.

Cynthia Stanfield, 50, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.

Monday, July 30:

Meelle Julnay Reed, 18, charged with shoplifting — first offense. Case dismissed — no witnesses present, subject not served.

Lashunda Harris, 32, found guilty of disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 10 day suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.

Randy Woods, 20, found not guilty of two counts of possession of a schedule III controlled substance. Pills to be returned to owner.

Randy Carnale Woods, 20, charged with window tint. Case dismissed — had all papers showing medical exemption.

Stephanie Arnold pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 48 hours in jail. Banned from store. Fine set at $444.

Gary Alford Lindsey, 49, found guilty of fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer in a motor vehicle. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $444. Weapon to be returned. Lindsey found not guilty of failure to obey police officer/traffic school guard. Lindsey, found guilty of DUI first offense test results. Sentenced to 48 hours suspended. Fine set at $730.

Lonnie Jackson, 48, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 48 hours in jail. Fine set at $444.

Rashondra C. Waters, 21, found not guilty of possession of a controlled substance.

Darius Franklin, 21, found guilty of possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464.

Violenn Simmons, 33, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Jessica A. Bradley, 32, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours on house arrest. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $444. Bradley pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours community service. Fine set at $264. Restitution set at $60.90 to be paid to Walmart.

Malcolm Daniel Cloy Jr., 23, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days with 26 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve four days in jail. Fine set at $444.

Joseph Daniel Ratliff, 59, charged pleaded guilty to 23 counts of misdemeanor false pretense. No fine or jail time set.

 

Friday, Aug. 3:

Katie M. Ivory, 27, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Total fine set at $390.03.

Lejarius Dewayne McGuire, 22, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464.

 

Friday, Aug. 6:

Don A. Barnes, 58, found guilty of misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464.

Brent A. Dossett, 26, pleaded guilty to amended charge of disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 45 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $594.

Robert W. Braswell, 49, charged with public drunkenness. Case dismissed — officer no longer employed.

Braswell Construction Company, Inc., charged with handicapped parking violation. Case dismissed — officer no longer employed.

Jared McCalip, 28, pleaded guilty to running a stop sign. Fine set at $130. McCalip pleaded guilty to no driver’s license. Fine set at $325 minus $50 credit. Must pay a fine of $275.

Don Albert Barnes, 58, charged with tag improper display. Case dismissed — Antique tag does not require stickers.

 

Tuesday, Aug. 7:

Shemika Denise Butler, 35, charged with felony false pretense. Failed to make agreed payment. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Christopher Meier, 33, pleaded guilty to reduced misdemeanor charge of petit larceny. Served 146 days in jail. No fine.

Demetric V. McKnight, 20, charged with simple assault of a police officer. Case dismissed — victim no longer employed at Natchez Police Department. McKnight charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case dismissed — victim not served subpoena nor did she appear.

Jeremy K. Hammond, 23, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of a concealed weapon. Fine set at $450. Weapon, which was stolen, to be returned to owner.

Joseph Collins England, 44, charged with shoplifting — more than $500 (felony). Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing. Bond set at $20,000.

Dexter F. Miles, 45, charged with shoplifting — more than $500 (felony). Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing. Bond set at $20,000. Miles charged with two counts of shoplifting — more than $500 (felony) Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing. Bond set at $10,000 on first charge and $20,000 on second charge.

Frank James Washington, 21, charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $25,000.

Frank James Washington, 21, charged with two counts of burglary of a commercial building, cars, etc. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $50,000 on first charge and $30,000 on second charge. Washington charged with two counts of burglary of a commercial building, cars, etc. Case dismissed on both charges — lack of proof. Washington charged with possession or carrying a concealed weapon by a felon. Case dismissed.

Keith Leonard, 43, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor trespassing less than larceny. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Fine set at $300. Restitution set at $189.25 to be paid.

 

Wednesday, Aug. 8:

Jermaine Katrell Albert, 22, charged with willful trespassing. Satisfied by time served and defendant released to drug court. Albert charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Case remanded to files on motion of prosecution and defense. Albert charged with carrying a concealed weapon. Case remanded to files on motion of prosecution and defense.

Devin S. Mason, 19, pleaded guilty to malicious mischief. Fine set at $294. Restitution set at $250.

Michael Bergerson, 50, found guilty of public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.

Bridget Williams, 28, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Total fine set at $409.

Cynthia Ellis, Age N/A, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Total fine set at $429.86.

Toby Dawon Gooden, 45, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor receiving stolen property. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $494.
