I would like to thank The Natchez Democrat for allowing me to become a part of their team for a summer internship of six weeks.

I appreciate all the critiques, learning styles and reporting skills that were taught to me.

I want to thank the staff for going out of their way to help me.

I would like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Julie Cooper for teaching me beyond just writing for The Natchez Democrat, but to help me in the future.

Last but not least, I would like to thank the readers for supporting my passion of writing.

With this internship, I was able to meet many new people, make great connections and learn new tools of the trade.

Thanks to The Natchez Democrat, I am excited to start my sophomore year at The University of Mississippi and continue to learn and improve my talents.
