NATCHEZ — Weather forecasters predict strong thunderstorms are likely across the Miss-Lou.

A slow-moving cold front that will be moving through the area is expected to produce thunderstorms capable of producing quarter-sized hail and wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour.

Storms may be capable of producing torrential rainfall with amounts totaling between one and two inches in a short time period. Rainfall may cause some local flooding.

Please be weather aware today and do not venture into flooded roadways.
