FAYETTE — Funeral services for Ernest Lee Culbert, 69, of Fayette, who died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at 2 p.m. today at Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Stampley with the Rev. Maurice Irving officiating.

Visitation will be noon until time of services today at the church.

Burial will follow at the Salem Missionary Baptist Church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mr. Culbert was born June 25, 1943 in Jefferson County, the son of Willie and Ernetter Felton Culbert. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Mack Culbert, Robert Lee Culbert, J.C. Culbert and Lethal Culbert.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Rosie Marie Jackson Culbert; two daughters, Sandy Culbert and Maqulia Beamer and husband, Mark; four sons, Lonnie Culbert and wife, Mary, Willie Culbert and wife, Cindy, Lee Londell Culbert and Shelbert Culbert; two sisters, Willie Mae Monroe and Venter Fulton; five grandchildren, Jalen Beamer, Mark Beamer Jr., Kalen Beamer, Drakisia Williams and Wilneshia Culbert; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
