Tropical Storm Warning issued for Adams County, Concordia Parish
Published 8:00am Tuesday, August 28, 2012NATCHEZ – The National Weather Service issued a tropical storm warning early Tuesday for Adams County and Concordia Parish in anticipation of the arrival of Tropical Storm Isaac.
At 7 a.m. Isaac was still slowly moving toward the Louisiana coast with sustained winds at 70 mph. Weather forecaster suggest Isaac’s biggest threat will be from the significant flood event it is expected to create across the region.
The storm may dump up between 4 to 6 inches across the Miss-Lou.
A tropical storm warning means sustained winds of between 39 and 73 mph are expected in the next 36 hours.
