LAUREN WOOD / THE NATCHEZ DEMOCRAT — “Go Falcons!,” yells out Trakima Beckem, 6, while high-kicking up in the air after completing a cheer during practice Thursday evening at Natchez High School with the Falcon cheer team. Trakima is one of the youngest girls on the team, and her oldest teammate is 12 years old.
Kennadi Henry, 7, cheers and claps loudly while running through cheers with her Falcon teammates. The team will be traveling with the Falcon football team to Jackson to play the Jackson 49ers on Saturday.
