Downtown trash is a disgrace

Published 12:19am Sunday, September 30, 2012

Has anyone else noticed the trash at the U.S. Post Office downtown, from where you park all along the path to go in? Fall Pilgrimage is here, and how embarrassing. There is also trash down some of the streets in the downtown area. Any suggestions or is it just me that notices?

Good points. Lots of the trash can’t be seen due to the tall grass in the medians, weeds in the flower beds, and the trash along the trails project. No such thing as sprucing up for fall pilgrimage, balloon fest, etc. enters the minds of the politicos in advance.

AMEN OSG!!!! The Liberty Road Interchange is a COMPLETE disgrace!!!!! Local politicians obviously don’t give a flip, volunteer groups have done 1 annual clean up, but it has gone to the birds again…… Natchez looks horribly unkept, not very inviting to visitors, new citizens, and long timers….. No civic pride, and it just blows my mind!!!!!! I have ranted and raved enough about this…. and I am just at the point of considering relocating to a part of the country where people are educated, do care about the little things…. Natchez will never grow and prosper if we can’t even keep flower beds weeded, mulched, trashed picked up (educate the low lifes/thugs that trash everything)….. It’s embarrasing to have guest visit from out of town, and everything looks so trashy and unkept….. Life is too short to live somewhere, where people just don’t care, and are too lazy to do anything about it…….
