NATCHEZ — Services for Charles Chamberlain Graves, 88, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at his residence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Tidwell officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Graves was born Feb. 18, 1924, in Franklin County, the son of John Conley Graves Sr. and Mazie Ollie Smylie Graves. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Graves was retired from Armstrong Tire and Rubber Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, John Q. Graves, Malcolm Graves and J.C. Graves.

Survivors include his wife, Doris E. Graves; two sons, Charles R. Graves of Jackson and Billy B. Graves of Natchez; two brothers; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Keith Graves, Robert Graves, Wayne Holmes, B.J. Strong, Keith Smith and T.E. Brasher.
