BUDE — Services for Rosie L. Harris, of Brookhaven, formerly of Franklin County, who died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Bude with the Rev. Clyde Browber officiating.

Burial will follow at Burnett Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Ms. Harris was born Dec. 1, 1953, in Meadville, the daughter of Charles and Katie Ruth Harris.

She was preceded in death by her father; grandmother, Kate Smith Brown; great-grandmother, Mattie Cameron Smith Fleming; and great-grandfather, Willie Smith Sr.

Survivors include one son, David Harris and wife, Patricia; her mother; three grandchildren, Candice Scott, Maggie Starks and April Starks; one god-granddaughter, Kierra Tillman; two aunts, Georgia Mae Smith and JoAnn Hall; and a number of other relatives and friends.
