VIDALIA — Services for Ruth Dewey Collinsworth, 83, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Vidalia United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ray Varnado officiating.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Campground Cemetery in Arcadia, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Mrs. Collinsworth was born April 28, 1929, the daughter of Oliver Dewey Sprawls and Mamie Maybelle Brunston Sprawls. She was a homemaker and a member of Vidalia United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Collinsworth was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Collinsworth; her parents; one daughter, Sharon Boyter; one brother, Rex Sprawls; and one sister, Margie Ann Sprawls.

Survivors include one daughter, Judi Jones of Vidalia; one granddaughter, Amanda Hudson of Natchez; two grandsons, Jeremy Jones and wife, Amanda, of Bellingham, Wash., and Nicholas Boyter and wife, Joanie, of Christoval, Texas; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Nick Boyter, Jeremy Jones, Jeff Fugler, Lawrence Havard, Danny Collinsworth and Haywood Whitley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Al Fugler, Dr. Barry Tillman and Dr. Randy Tillman.
