VIDALIA — Services for John Wesley “Wes” Dayton III, 28, of Madison, formerly of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, in Madison, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church of Vidalia with Dr. Ralph Webber officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

Wes was born March 26, 1984, in Natchez. He was a wonderful son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend.

Wes loved the outdoors and took immense pleasure in hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Buddy and Mary Helen Hickman.

Survivors include his father, Jeff Dayton; his mother, Debbie Thomas and stepfather, Mark Thomas, of Raymond; his paternal grandparents, John and Sue Dayton; his wife, Keely Ballard Dayton; three sisters, Amanda, Caitlan and Camryn Dayton; and one brother, Ryan Thomas.

Wes was a great inspiration to his nieces, Bralynn and Jaidyn and to his nephews, Brody and Hayden.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Lipscomb, Mark Thomas, S.L. “Tam” Winston IV, Russ Caldwell, Ryan Thomas and Zack Mott.
