Wildcats run all over Crystal Springs 34-6

WOODVILLE — Nicholas Hull, Roosevelt Tolliver and La’Darian Peterson combined for 193 yards and four rushing touchdowns as the Wilkinson County Wildcats got back in the winning column with a big win over the Crystal Springs Tigers in a Region 7-3A game Friday night.

Hull ended with 77 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries, while Tolliver had 10 carries for 71 yards and one touchdown and Peterson tallied 45 yards and one touchdown on five carries. Hull’s two scores in the second quarter gave Wilkinson County a 27-0 halftime lead.

Devin Voorhies had a solid game throwing the ball as he completed 10 of 24 passes for 126 yards with no interceptions. Elton Jolla also had a touchdown run and led the Wildcats’ defense with 10 tackles. Peterson intercepted two passes.
