Enjoy safe, fall fun at Saturday festival

At a time when there are few safe activities for children, the youth department of the Natchez Church of God will be sponsoring a Hallelujah Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

A Christ-centered maze, festival booths and lots of candy, air jumps and face painting will be available for children.

All events are free for the children. So we don’t leave adults out, there will be a free cake walk for adults and children.

In conjunction with the youth department, the Ladies’ Ministry will also sponsor a craft fair/flea market event in the large parking lot from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Everything from paintings on canvases to handmade jewelry will be available.

This will be a great opportunity for parents to shop at the variety of vendors while their children are safely playing at the festival events.

The ladies will also be selling cakes and other baked goods.

There will be a food booth, which will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, chili dogs, nachos and drinks.

The Men’s Ministry will be selling boiled peanuts.

This is a great opportunity for the community to participate in activities that will be fun for the whole family.

The community is invited to come out for a day of good, safe fun.
