Joe Garrity, right, and Chuck Golden, both firefighters with the Natchez Fire Department, scoop chili out of the pot Saturday afternoon during the Natchez Rotary Broadway Bash Chili Cook-off on the bluff. The fire department, sponsored by B&K Bank, took second place in the people’s choice award.
Jason Dauphin celebrates as he and other members of the Krewe of Phoenix walk up to the judge’s tent to receive first place in the judge’s award during the cook-off. The Krewe, led by chili cook Ron Jinkins, also took first place in best booth and third place in people’s choice.
