NATCHEZ — Services for Lucille Dunmore Clark, 91, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clifton Marvel officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Macedonia Baptist Church.

Mrs. Clark was born Jan. 15, 1921, in Adams County, the daughter of Charles “Head” Dunmore and Evadnia Carroll Dunmore. She was a member of the Usher Board and the Missionary Society.

Mrs. Clark enjoyed cooking and sharing her food with others, quilting, gardening and telling family stories of being a baseball pitcher as a girl. She loved singing.

Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Frank “Dick,” Charles “Judge,” James “Jimmy,” and Morris Dunmore; and four sisters, Laura Squalls, Emma Collins Lewis, Clara Webster and Hattie Mae Dunmore.

Survivors include four children, Lem Smith and wife, Phyllis, Gloria Jean Chatman, Harriett Green and Lucille Reese; a number of stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Horace Dunmore and wife, Louise; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephew, Larry Jackson.
