NATCHEZ — Services for Anise Greene, 70, of Natchez, who died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Covenant Health and Rehab of Vicksburg, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Burial will follow at Watkins Street Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home in Vicksburg.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mrs. Greene was a member of Zion Chapel A.M.E. Church and served as the president of the Usher Board and a member of the Missionary Society until her health began to fail.

She was a graduate of the nursing program at Mississippi Valley State University. She retired in June 2008, as a nurse from Natchez Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Greene was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one stepson.

Survivors include one son, Michael Colston and wife, Beverly, of Vicksburg; one daughter, Cheryl Jones and husband, Willie, of Crystal Springs; one sister, Dr. Mary Newell of Tallahassee, Fla.; one stepson, John Greene III of Irving, Texas; two stepdaughters, Leigh Ester Watkins and Juanita P. Greene, both of Irving; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
