Murder trial update: Williams found guilty, sentenced to life

NATCHEZ — An Adams County jury has found Adrian Williams guilty of murder after less than 45 minutes of deliberation.

Williams was on trial for the May 28, 2011, shooting death of Quinton Brown. Brown was found dead by a passerby in the Natchez City Cemetery.

Williams faces a sentence of life without eligibility for release until he is 65.

The case began Wednesday afternoon and wrapped up just after lunch Thursday.
