Edward and Tara Leachman of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Cole Leachman to Justin Wayne Becker, son of Mrs. Joan Becker and the late Joseph Becker of Fort Smith, Ark.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School in Hot Springs, Ark., and a graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark. She is employed by Remington College in Little Rock, Ark.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Estelle Porter and the late Henry Francis Byrne of Natchez and the late Jim and Clarice Leachman of Bastrop, La.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Northside High School in Fort Smith and a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Ark. He is employed by Coleman Technologies in Little Rock.

He is the grandson of the late Edwin and Virginia Soller and the late Simon and Ernestine Becker, all of Fort Smith.

The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in New Orleans.
