Mary Katherine Whitlock of Ruston, La., and Lindsay Alexander Kimbrough of Meadville are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Howard Whitlock of Ruston and the late Jackie Whitlock.

She is a 1997 graduate of Ruston High School and a 2001 graduate of Louisiana Tech University. She is employed by Louisiana State University Health Hospital in Shreveport as a trauma and critical care surgeon. She is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

She is the granddaughter of Susie Woodard of Ruston, the late Homer Woodard, the late Shelby Whitlock and the late Allene Whitlock.

The groom-to-be is the son of Bob and Susie Kimbrough of Meadville.

After receiving his education via home schooling, Allin attended the University of Southern Mississippi and the Mississippi School of Therapeutic Massage. He is self-employed as a massage therapist and general manager/owner of Kimbrough Therapeutic Massage in Shreveport.

He is the grandson of Doris Jean Hollinger of Meadville and the late Lynn Shepard Hollinger. Paternal grandparents are the late John M. Kimbrough Jr. and Blanche Alexander Kimbrough of Lexington.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Temple Baptist Church in Ruston.
