NATCHEZ — Services for Wayne Ransom, 56, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary Baptist Church with the Rev. Wilsonni Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Mark Baptist Church Memorial Garden under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Ransom was a 1976 graduate of Natchez High School. He was Baptist.

Mr. Ransom was preceded in death by one brother, Audley Ransom Jr.

Survivors include his parents, Ordley and Thelma Ransom of Natchez; five sisters, Jessie Graves of Columbia, Md., Thelma Ford, Corine Reed, Aurine White and Lillian Page, all of Natchez; two brothers, Claude Ransom of Natchez and Dave Ransom of Lawton, Okla.; four aunts, Bessie Ransom, Sylvia Washington, Katie Thomas and Marie “Fannie” Ransom, all of Natchez; one uncle, Clarence Ransom of Natchez; and a number of other family and friends.
