Photo feature: Taking Christmas to the streets

LAUREN WOOD/THE NATCHEZ DEMOCRAT — Mandy Wisner throws beads to the crowd as she rides in the bucket of a Southern Signs truck Saturday night during the Natchez Christmas Parade. The Adams County Christian School cheerleaders were also riding on the truck.

The parade committee’s Christmas spirit award went to the Emerald Tide. The prize for best Christmas theme was won by Mount Olive Baptist Church. The ACCS cheerleaders won most original. West Elementary School took home the title of best children’s theme.
