LARTO — Services for Sheri LaPrairie, 33, of Larto, who died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Larto Baptist Church with the Revs. David Carpenter and Loyd Trisler officiating and under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. today until the time of the service.

Mrs. LaPrairie was born Dec. 28, 1978, in Natchez, the daughter of Tommy and Nina LaPrairie.

She was a resident of Larto, a farmer and an active member of Larto Baptist Church.

Mrs. LaPrairie was preceded in death by her grandmother Marvyn LaPrairie and uncle Leland Robinson Jr.

Survivors include her parents; grandfathers George LaPrairie Sr. of Larto, Alfred Gunn and wife, Sissy, of Pollock; grandmother Hattie Goodwin of Homa; six uncles, Butch LaPrairie and wife, Becky, of Larto, Darrell LaPrairie and wife, Gail, of Jonesville, Wallace LaPrairie and wife, Bev, of Larto, Ronald Robinson and wife, Bonnie, of New Iberia, Roy Robinson and wife, Judy, of Carson City, Nevada, and Alfred Lee Gunn and wife, Shanna, of Shreveport; and three aunts, Cynthia Kilpatrick and husband, Tommy, of Deville, Melissa Teriveno and husband, Joe, of Youngsville, and Mary Gunn of Shreveport. She is also survived by a number of cousins, family and friends who will greatly miss her.
