NATCHEZ — Private graveside services for Annette Gunning Mingee, 88, of Madison, formerly of Natchez, who died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, will be at 1 p.m. today at the Natchez City Cemetery with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mingee was born July 4, 1924, in Natchez, the daughter of Martin Gunning and Virginia Barnes Gunning.

She was a former member of St. Mary Basilica.

Mrs. Mingee was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Clyde Mingee Jr., and daughter Virginia “Bootsie” Dennis.

Survivors include her son James C. Mingee and wife, Sami, of Madison; daughter Marcia Jackson and husband, Lynn, of Crystal Springs; son-in-law James D. Dennis of Hazlehurst, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
