VIDALIA — Services for Jennifer “Jennie” Washington, 32, and baby Jacob Alex Washington of Ferriday, who died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethel Church in Vidalia with Pastor Troy Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Wildsville, La., under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Ms. Washington was born Aug. 28, 1980, in Ferriday, the daughter of Charles Fortune and Daisy Washington-Johnson. She was employed by All About You Healthcare Services as a sitter.

She was preceded in death by two children, La-Daise Lenette Williams and Jacob Alex Washington.

Survivors include her parents; two children, Joshua Dixon and JaToya Washington; two brothers, Maurice Washington and Henry Simpson, all of Ferriday; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
