Jearmie O’Neal charged with possession and sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury. O’Neal charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Case remanded to files. O’Neal charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Schaunn Lawrence pleaded guilty to simple assault.

Joseph M. Williams charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Tuesday, Dec. 4:

Nikki Jenkins, 35, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Fine of $400 and restitution of $640 paid in full.

Lejarius McGuire, 22, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent. Sentenced to 58 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Fine set at $450. McGuire also pleaded guilty to no driver’s license. Fine set at $325. McGuire also pleaded guilty to failure to maintain insurance proof in vehicle. Fine set at $564. McGuire also pleaded guilty to careless driving. Fine set at $180. McGuire also pleaded guilty to DUI — other substance. Sentenced to 48 hours. Fine set at $730. McGuire also pleaded guilty to DUS — implied consent. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $640. McGuire also pleaded guilty to failure to maintain insurance proof in vehicle. Fine set at $264.

Jemicka Lynette Johnson, 32, charged with shoplifting — third offense (felony). Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held in absence.

Michael Coleman Jr. pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of stolen property. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Banned from Belk. Fine set at $450.

Wednesday, Dec. 5:

Brooke Watson, 28, found guilty of disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $644.

Aaron Curtis, 47, charged with petit larceny. Case remanded to files — complainant not served.

Tira Wyeneti Holmes/Blanton, 35, found guilty of disturbing the peace by profanity. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $394.

Nakesha Conner, 23, charged with DUS — revoked or suspended. Case remanded to files — tickets were unable to be located. Conner was also charged with DUI first offense test refusal. Case remanded to files — tickets were unable to be located.

Friday, Dec. 7:

Jameka S. Fields, 19, charged with disorderly conduct – failure to comply with officer. Case dismissed.

Derrick R. Bacon, 23, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Fine set at $464.

 

Monday, Dec. 10:

Curtisha Knight, 19, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $444.

Derrick Lyles, 30, pleaded guilty to simple assault attempt to create fear. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $750.

Devron D. Green, 18, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464.

Lena Mitchell Wilson, 29, pleaded guilty to simple assault. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $494.

Adrian Safras pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for two days served. Fine set at $594.

Kendrell Clark pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 12:

Brent P. Newman, 46, charged with simple assault bodily injury. Case dismissed at request of victim, Michael Coon, after victim went to Justice Court and withdrew affidavit against Brent Newman.

Roy Merrick, 70, charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Case remanded to files at request of arresting officer and the apology of the defendant.

India R. Dobbins, 27, charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case remanded to files.

Sharon Traxler Brown, 49, pleaded guilty to trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.
