Michael and Melva Devalt of Fayette and Marion Banks of Clarksdale announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Delveckio Banks to Nickolaus Groce, son of Tyrone Groce of Trenton, N.J., and the late Ruth Arlene Washington of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of Hinds Community College in Jackson. She is employed by Jefferson County Nursing Home in Fayette as a licensed practical nurse.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mose and Johana Johnson of Natchez and the late Rev. Robert Banks and Irene Washington of Clarksdale.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Natchez High School. He is employed by Exxon in Natchez.

He is the grandson of Carrie Washington and the late Albert Washington of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Natchez.

A reception will follow at Younique’s, formerly Fidelity Tire Union Hall.
