NATCHEZ — Services for Carol Lavon Fatherree Wallace, 77, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Magnolia House, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Wright and the Rev. Scott Green officiating.

Burial will follow in the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wallace was born Sept. 9, 1935, in Natchez, the daughter of Charles Ernest Fatherree Sr. and Mildred Chaney Fatherree.

She was a member of First Assembly Church of God and the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society.

Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles William “Red” Wallace Sr.

Survivors include her three children, Susan Callon and husband, Cane, Charles William Wallace Jr. and wife, Debbie, and Sherry Bartlett, all of Natchez; two grandchildren, Hope O’Malley-Smith and husband, Nathan, of Brandon and Charles “Trey” Wallace III of Natchez; one sister, Vicki Jordan and husband, James, of Natchez; and one brother, Charles “Skippy” Fatherree and wife, Ruth, of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Wingfield, Kippy Blaney, Nathan Smith, Paul Luby, Harold Poole, Tom McGehee, Jimmy Netterville and James Davis.

Memorials may be made to the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society.
