FERRIDAY — Services for George Campbell, 66, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at Heritage Manor Health and Rehab Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Evening Star Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. T.A. Baker Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Mr. Campbell was born Feb. 11, 1946, in Ferriday, the son of Ernest Washington and Edena Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ernest Campbell; and one sister, Julia Washington.

Survivors include three brothers, Donell Campbell of Ferriday, Johnell Campbell of Denver, Colo., and Booker T. Campbell of Dallas; five sisters, Amelia Madison of Monila, Ill., Mary Prophet, Shelly Washington, both of Milwaukee, Wis.., Emma Campbell and Dinah Campbell, both of Ferriday; special niece, Katina Washington of Ferriday; and a number of other nieces, nephews and cousins.
