Mr. and Mrs. Irby Gascon Jr. of Vidalia celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. They were married at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine, La., in 1945. They are parents of three children, Karen Foley and husband, Edward, of Natchez, Kim Mascagni and husband, Charles, of Baton Rouge, Irby Gascon III of Van Nuys, Calif., and grandparents of eight.
