Adams County Circuit Court Cases

Monday, Jan. 14:

Justin King has his probation revoked in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court for violating terms and conditions of his probation — rule numbered three: regularly report in person to his probation officer as directed; rule numbered 10: not violate any laws of the United States or any state thereof; rule numbered 15: pay to the Mississippi Department of Corrections such monthly reporting fee as authorized by the laws of Mississippi. Sentenced to serve a term of seven years in MDOC to run consecutively with the sentence in cause numbered 12KR0135A-S.

Friday, Jan. 11:

Calvin Blake Jr. pleaded guilty to burglary of a vehicle in Sanders’ court. Sentenced to three years in MDOC to run consecutively with present sentence now being served. The defendant shall enter into and successfully complete the Alcohol and Drug Treatment Program at MDOC. After serving one day of said three-year sentence, the remaining balance is to be served on two years and 364 days post release supervision to be supervised under the supervision of MDOC. Full credit given for any time already served. While on post release supervision, the defendant shall enter into and successfully complete the Sixth Judicial Circuit Adult Drug Court Program. Must pay all court costs, a prosecution fee of $200 in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk. MDOC fees shall be waived and the defendant is ordered to pay Drug Court fees of $50 per month. Must pay an assessment of $1,000 to the Sixth Judicial Circuit Adult Drug Court Program.

Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Friday, Jan. 11:

Stephen Brooks Welch, 29, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.

James Edward Marsaw Jr., 26, found guilty of disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $550.

Latasha Robinson, 23, charged with shoplifting — first offense. Case dismissed at request of affidavit mistaken identity motion of defense attorney and prosecution.

Devin T. Williams, 19, charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Satisfied with time served.

Isaac Lewis Glenn, 41, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days with 25 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Five days served. No fine set.

Mouneat L. Queen, 39, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — second offense. Sentenced to 60 days with 52 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. To serve eight days in jail. Fine set at $644.

Valisha Jones, 42, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve six days in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $544.

Monday, Jan. 14:

Ronnie Thompson, 22, charged with trespassing upon enclosed land. Case remanded to files — complainant failed to appear.

Joshua L. Beamer, 31, charged with simple assault attempt to create fear. Case remanded to files — complainant was unable to be served.

Victor M. Martinez, 47, pleaded guilty to DUI first offense test refusal. Sentenced to 48 hours suspended. Fine set at $755.

Edward Lee Davis, 31, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days with 22 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Credit given for time served. Fine set at $444 minus $75 credit. Must pay a fine of $369.

Kenneth Gooden pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $594.

Carolyn Shelton pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $594.
