Woman arrested for statutory rape of teen

NATCHEZ — A 41-year-old Natchez woman has been charged with statutory rape, a felony, after reportedly having sex with a 15-year-old boy she met on Facebook.

Natchez Police Chief Danny White said Angela C. Strahan, 41, 223 Holly Drive, was charged Friday in connection with the incident, which happened in early January.

White said NPD began its investigation after the mother of the boy reported what happened.

Strahan is being held without bond until her arraignment Monday.
