Ben Hillyer | The Natchez Democrat — The threat of rain didn’t keep people from filling up the Natchez Clay Studio Sunday to pick out handmade bowls, gumbo and help give money to the Natchez Stewpot. Justin Johnson and his mother Gigi, above, try to pick out just the right set of bowls.
Ben Hillyer | The Natchez Democrat — Winn Ward points out which bowl he thinks his wife Lisa should choose. For $25, people received a bowl of gumbo and the opportunity to pick out a piece of pottery to take home to remind them of the event. More than 300 bowls were made for the event. All proceeds went to the Natchez Stewpot.
