JONESVILLE — Services for Bobby Lee Ford, 74, of Jonesville, who died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, will be at 10 a.m. today at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Craig James and the Rev. Mickey Hudnall officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Mr. Ford was born Dec. 2, 1938, the son of Alvin Frank Ford and Lucy Zeagler Ford. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

His passions were his grandchildren, hunting at his beloved Big Buck Hunting Club of which he was a proud member for more than 20 years and farming soybeans, cotton, corn and milo.

Mr. Ford proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Gloria Sue Ducote; and one son-in-law, Joseph Mark Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Evelyn Ford; two sons, Barry Ford and Kyle Ford and Liane Apel, all of Jonesville; two daughters, Joni Davis and Jana Ford and Todd Ford, all of Jonesville; one brother, Travis Ford and wife, Nina, of Manifest, La.; one sister, Vicki Dianne Thompson of Ball, La.; eight grandsons, Joseph Davis, John Davis, Phillip Yarbrough, Spencer Yarbrough, Laban Ford, Jacob Ford, Clayton Ford and Nick Somerville; four granddaughters, Sandra Yarbrough, Jordan Davis, Zea Ford and Caitlin Somerville.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Davis, John Davis, Spencer Yarbrough, Laban Ford, Lee White, Todd Babin, Tim Neal and James Ford.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Cockerham and his other hunting buddies of Big Buck Hunting Club.
