NATCHEZ — The driver of a white pickup truck was ejected from her vehicle Monday in a one-car accident on Seargent S. Prentiss Drive.

Natchez Police Sgt. Julius Steele said Keundra Washington was traveling southbound on Seargent S. Prentiss Drive near Fatherland Road when she lost control of the truck. The truck rolled over twice, Steele said, and Washington was ejected from the vehicle.

Steele said Washington was taken to a local hospital and then airlifted to Jackson. Steele did not know the extent of Washington’s injuries, but he said they did not appear to be life threatening at the scene.
