WATERPROOF — Services for Beatrice Cole, 97, of Waterproof, who died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Choctaw Chapel Baptist Church in Waterproof with the Rev. Frank Brown officiating.

Burial will follow at Barcelona Cemetery in Waterproof under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cole was born Aug. 31, 1915, in Vidalia, the daughter of West and Ida Mary Griggs Nellon. She was a homemaker and a member of Choctaw Chapel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Cole and her parents.

Survivors include one son, Jerome Cole of New Orleans; a special nephew, Robert Coleman and wife, Mozell, of Allen, Texas; and one grandchild.
