LARTO, La. — Services for Grover Paul Wiley, 66, of Jonesville, who died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, in Broussard, La., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Larto Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenn Gordon and the Rev. Mack Walker officiating.

Burial will follow at Pease Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at the church.

Mr. Wiley was born Nov. 9, 1946, in Larto, the son of Dan Will Wiley and Millie Ann Wiley. He was a “Jack of all trades” and a member of Larto Baptist Church. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Wiley was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Glenn Wiley, Danny Wiley and Darius Wiley; one sister, Lori Jo Tapp; one son-in-law, Michael Cupit; special friend, Wesley Steele; and three nephews, Chance Wiley, Daniel Wiley and Brandon Gordon.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Wiley; two sons, Anthony Wiley and wife, Monika, of Burlington, Wis., and Staff Sgt. Edward “Bruce” Wiley and wife, Jaime, of Surprise, Ariz.; two daughters, Kristi Cazalot and husband, Scott, of Broussard, La., and Sara Cupit of Vidalia; three stepdaughters, Chassity Stanford of Louisville, Ky., Nikki Aguilar of Wildsville, La., and Sandra Cook of Larto; three sisters, Danna Bordelon and husband, Lincoln, Angie Wiley, all of Larto, and Bobbie Gordon and husband, David, of Effie, La.; 21 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Pallbearers will be David Wiley, Christopher Wiley, Freddie Trister, Jonathon Wiley, Joshua Cazalot, Willis Charrier, Shelby Creel and Skyler Richmond.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Pennington, Dickie Broussard, Tom Fleming and Curtis Shirley.

The family requests memorials be made to the family fund in Grover’s name to JPMorgan Chase Bank in Pineville, La., or to a charity of choice.
